Warrington Way 40
Warrington Way 40 – November 7, 2015
The Warrington Way is a new 40mile ultra marathon race which is set to take place for the first time on Saturday November 7. The race starts and finishes in the lovely village of Lymm, and involves 40 miles of footpaths, trails, country lanes and roads in a big anticlockwise loop around Warrington.
The Warrington Way is open to solo runners willing to put in the whole distance and to 4 person relay teams (with each person doing one 10mile stage.) Both solo runners and the relay teams start at 7.00am. Note that the route is not fully waymarked although there are green/white tape markers approximately every 0.5 miles and at all junctions on the route to help guide runners. Entrants must be able to navigate around the route and a four-page colour OS map of the route with an accompanying narrative route description will be provided at registration.
Entry costs £25 for solo runners and £60 for relay teams (plus a UKA £2 supplement for unaffiliated runners) and includes a Warrington Way technical t-shirt at the end for finishers.
