Taking place at Belvoir Castle, Leicestershire, the Equinox24 is a 24hour mixed terrain race around a 10k loop set against the clock. The event is open to all abilities with the option to run solo or in a team of 2-8 and with event organisers promising that it will be: ‘exhilarating, testing and rewarding with a great atmosphere.’
Equinox24 is renowned for its welcoming, supportive and friendly atmosphere, a great experience for runners and supporters alike. The course, which sits partly in Leicestershire and partly in Lincolnshire, has varied terrain so entrants will find themselves running past lakes, through wooded areas, up and down hills and round open fields. What’s not to like?
Camping for the event is free to all competitors and spectators on the Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights. There are great facilities on site including hot showers, toilets, water points, food and drink stalls, bar, trade stalls, merchandise shop, massage, central marquee and bouncy castle.
Entry for the Equinox24 is £80 for solo runners, £70 for pairs and £55 for teams of 3-8. Early-bird entry until April 30 takes £5-per-person off the price. Full details at equinox24.co.uk
