To Hell and Back
To Hell and Back – June 5, 2016
To Hell and Back is a truly epic 66.6miler (you get the hell / 666 connection?) that takes runners along some of the most spectacular and challenging terrain the UK has to offer, including 40 continuous miles of the north western section of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Coast Path.
The course incorporates approximately 4 miles of road, followed by 40 miles of coast path, finished off with 22 miles back on roads – but To Hell and Back hasn’t quite finished with you at that point… The final push includes steps and a hill to really end the day on a high. This ultra starts early at 6am with a doable 20hour cut off and additional cut offs at the five official checkpoints. Challenging? Yes. Worth it? It looks spectacular to us and, being Pembrokeshire anything could happen in terms of the weather…
Entry fee for To Hell and Back is a crazy-reasonable £45 which includes CP niceties, a finishers medal and well-earned event t-shirt. Full details and entry at man-upuk.com
