Pete Hayes Handsworth 10k

Pete Hayes Handsworth 10kPete Hayes Handsworth 10k – September 13, 2015

The Pete Hayes Handsworth 10k, held in Handsworth Park, Birmingham, is run in memory of Pete who tragically died in 2012 having been treated for endocardatis. Last year’s inaugural event attracted 130 runners and raised over £8000 for the British Heart Foundation.

Now able to make this an annual fund-raising event that helps bring the local community together in order to raise awareness of how and why to keep fit, registration is now open for the 2015 race. Organisers say this year will be bigger, better and every bit as friendly as their 2014 launch.

The race is open to anyone over 13, although anyone under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. You can enter on the day for £14, paying by cash or cheque at the registration desk or book online for just £10 at bhf.org.uk
