RunningMonkey at the Virgin London Marathon 2015

So whilst Paula Radcliffe was taking her final bow at the London Marathon, Eliud Kipchoge was busy beating reigning champion Wilson Kipsang into second place and Tigist Tufa was winning it for the women, RunningMonkey was busy (but slower) pacing the 4hr 30min finishers.

Perfect running conditions, if a little cold at the start line, helped hit the mile paces and, as always at the London Marathon, incredible crowd support urged everyone onwards. A huge congratulations to all finishers and the thousands raising money for great charities – you’re all heroes and it was a pleasure meeting even a small handful of you incredible runners. See you on the start line next year?

Happy trails – RunningMonkey
