The Bog & Bryn Challenge

The Bog & Bryn ChallengeThe Bog & Bryn Challenge – November 2, 2014

The Bog & Bryn Challenge is a tough 13-mile multi-terrain scenic race, across the footpaths, open fields, country lanes and woodland of Llantarnam, Henllys, Rogerstone, Coed Eva and Hollybush. The route includes numerous stiles and stream crossings, very challenging terrain underfoot and a total elevation of approximately 500m (1,640feet). Although only a couple of years old this race has quickly gained a great reputation for those looking for a truly tough early winter run.

Using the Cwmbran Stadium as race HQ (map here) the race offers refreshment stations on route, a fully marked and well-marshalled course, age category and team prizes and the all-important complimentary tea, coffee and cakes for all competitors.

Entry to the Bog & Bryn Challenge is just £12.00 with entries on the day if field limit of 200 is not reached (£2 surcharge applies.) Further details and entry at fairwater-cwmbran-runners.org.uk
